We are excited to present a great new free feature to all our users - mobile access to your running log. While it has always been possible to access LogYourRun through a cell phone - the formatting of the full website was not setup to be displayed on small screens. We have now launched a version of LogYourRun which will display nicely on small screens. The new version has been especially formatted to fit on the iPhone and iPod touch - but it also works well with other mobile devices.
The following is the pages that can be accessed through the mobile website (click "read more" to see more screenshots): Login, Enter Data, Week View and Day View. This will allow you to enter data on your phone and will allow you to review the basics of your data as well.
The URL you want to enter on your cell phone is www.logyourrun.com/m/
Enjoy!

We have launched new feature that allows you to keep track of your bicycles. On the user menu there is a new link for "My Bikes" which will let you setup as many bikes as you like. As you log your bike rides you will now see a bike selector where you can select which bike you rode. The mileage of the ride will be added to your bike so now you will not have to worry about your cyclocomputer odometer resetting when your battery runs out.

...and we will make sure that when you go to enter data that sport will be selected for you already.
To set your favorite sport - go to the User Panel in the User Menu and click on the Running Log Settings tab. Here you will see a drop down box that will allow you to set your favorite sport. Enjoy! |

We are excited to inform our users that we have partnered with Endurance News Network to bring you the best news about all your favorite exercise activities. You will notice that on the home page we have added a menu on the left that contains the latest running news from ENN. We are currently working on expanding the functionality of LogYourRun and further integrating the news from ENN. |

Looks like Garmin figured out how to pack a full GPS unit into a regular sized watch. Check out the video review at Amazon.

In addition to the original 6 categories of exercise we have now included the ability to further classify your exercise data. For example for running you can now select if it was a race or a training run or something else. We are interested in your suggestions for more types of exercise - please post your suggestions at the forum

To help our users keep more detailed track of their exercise events we have added the option to enter the specific time of day that the exercise took place. This field is optional so if you want to just keep using the AM/noon/PM to keep track of the time that is fine too.

I have had a lot of requests from users wishing to see the weekly and monthly totals for each sport on the week and month view pages. This has now been implemented so you will now be able to see your distance and time totals at the bottom of both the week and the month view pages. |
