Help with the shoes feature of the running log.

Select shoes
Select shoes

This feature will allow you to enter shoes into your running log. This allows you to track how many miles you have on your shoes and when it is time to get new ones. The top of the page shows you which shoes you have - if any are in your database. From this list you can edit your shoe information or delete old shoes or wrong entries.

As you enter runs into the running log - the mileage of the shoes will increase - but you will have to select the shoes on the enter data page.

Enter shoe information
Enter shoe information

The fields you can enter on the page are shoe brand, model, type, pronation, purchase date and original mileage.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Original mileage should not be changed unless you put miles on the shoes that are not entered into the database. The mileage of the shoes are calculated as:

original mileage + all the mileage in the running log where these shoes were used

The default shoe checkbox will allow you to change the shoe that the dropdown menu on the enter data will default to.

Check it out and enter your current shoes into the log so we can keep track of their mileage.
