On the left you can see the form used for entering running data into your running log. The form has many different things that you can enter - called fields. Two parts of this form will expand if you click on them:
  • The "Date Selection"
  • The "Advanced Features"

The Date Selection part of the form should be used if you are entering data for a day that is different from the day on which you are entering the data. By clicking the calendar icon Calendar Icon you can select the date of your run. Here you can also choose the time of day that you ran AM, noon, or PM. Once you change the date be sure to click the "Update date" button to change the date of the data.

The central part of the form labeled Basic Features contains some of the fields that are required to enter data into the log. The mileage and the time fields are essential. Selecting a route, shoe and entering weight are optional. The time of the run is entered as Hours:Minutes:Seconds in the 3 text boxes. Once mileage and time has been entered your pace will be calculated based on these values. Pace is displayed in how many minutes it would take to run one mile.

If you have entered your shoes into the database the mileage will be automatically added to the shoes.

If you want to see how many calories you burned during this run - please enter your approximate weight as this will allow us to calculate the approximate amount of calories burned.

If you are interested in entering more complex information about your running experience please fill in the Advanced Features part of the form.

Ready to try it out? Go to the enter data section.
