| Week 10 is a boost after 3 weeks increasing the milage. Starting from mid week runs & accumulate to the long run on weekend. It's the big number 25k was on everybody's mind for that Sunday.
We managed to complete the 3 mid week runs according to schedule, a good base to confront the 25k ahead.
To our surprise, the Sunday morning was full with the Great Eastern 30km trainers. All the way from Lake Garden to Sri Hartamas, the route was full of runners in groups.
We survived the 25km long run despite some minor hiccups with gassy belly by a few of us due to huge gulps of 100plus from our Petronas fuelling station at Sri Hartamas.
I was struggling the last 2.3km around Lake Garden. Feet was in pain, sun was burning & the concrete imprint of the walkway felt so hard pounding back on my feet.
Took 2 days to recover from aching knees. |
