Battery Run

Last night, on my way home from work, I got off my train and got in my car. Battery was totally dead (I knew it was going and I was planning on getting a new one this weekend). My wife graciously packed up the kids and came and picked me up. After dinner I picked up a battery and went back to the train station and installed it. Everything checked out OK. Only problem was I now had two cars and only one driver (since my wife was with the kids in bed). It is just over 4 miles to the train station, so I figured it was a perfect time to get in a run. Killing two birds with one stone again. I drove home and donned my cold weather running gear and reflective vest. It was a nice easy run to the station. I did a cool down stretch while the car warmed up. Felt good to get the battery taken care of (since I knew it was going to die) and to get a run in as well. I love when things work out like that.

Your battery didn't die, brother.

No.

That was the running gods screaming at you to get out and RUN!

:)

PS. Never piss off the running gods by not running .....

I love that story and the reply about the running gods! Awesome inspiration from you all. Thanks.
