| Is it good luck or bad luck that the pool at the YMCA has scheduled maintenance over the next two weeks? I ask this since the Chicago Triathlon is this coming Sunday and I am tapering (again). So...no swim workouts this week, but I don't really need them that much anyway. I did find out that the pool was closed the hard way. I was suited up and dripping wet from my pre-swim shower when I tried the pool door which wouldn't open. A sign on the locker room door would have been nice. They had one conveniently displayed on the door to the weight room which was nice. No worries though. I wasn't going to do any hard core swimming. Just mostly splash around for 30 min or so. Did some biking and rowing instead. |
