One more day I hit my goal

I set a goal at the start of the week to run at least 5 miles everyday this work week. Today was my 4th day. I felt better this morning than yesterday, but still a little stiff. One more tomorrow and I will have hit my highest milage for a week yet. My times have stopped going down and are staying right around the 8:20-8:30 range but I am ok with that because I know I am going farther distances and when my legs get more used to the milage the times will start to creep back down. I think I am going to keep my milage right here at around 23-25 miles aweek until I am averaging sub 8 min/miles. Hope everyone has a good run and a great day.

Excellent work - its all about setting goals and nailing them to the wall. Keep it up you are doing great and will hit your 8:00 mile average.

...you might want to do read up on hard / easy training. You'll get a much higher level of fitness with the same total mileage if you alternate harder/longer runs with shorter/slower runs. It's all about stress, then rest.

Anyway, keep up the running!
