| This was the end of week 22 of my 30 week marathon training. It was a good week for running. The weather was pretty good on my running days and my pace ended up being a little quicker. My long run was 17 miles which I completed in 2:49:01. That is just a hair under 10 min miles. I am okay with that time, because I was taking it easier on myself because of the 5k run the day before and having spent a good time walking/standing at a carnival the night before. My joints are still tender, but I feel pretty good. I can't wait to get in the pool tonight to do something low impact. Four of the next 5 weeks will be pretty hellish for me as I look at an 18-mile run, 20 mile run, and a 22 mile run along with an Olympic Triathlon. I got my fingers crossed that my body will stay healthy.
