| I chose to take a couple of days off. One day of complete rest. One day of walking - no running, no swimming, no biking, no lifting. After the pause I decided on a lunch time tempo run.
From the first step I knew I was running well. I took hills easily and strode down the other side at breakneck speed.
Then I did what I do, I logged my run. 4.7 Miles at a 7:01 pace. Holy cow. I'm suddenly feeling much better about my 5k on Saturday. |
