This running thing is new to me but I have targeted a half- marathon sometime in late september or early october with some friends. I usually prefer to mountain bike ride but this is abucket list list kind of thing. Plus a very close friend runs and I would like to share that with the close friend. I did my second 3-mile run today. Took 3 mins off time but had to do more walking. My legs just werent there today, but they will get there soon enough.

So proud of you!! Keep up the good work..it'll pay off soon enough! Mountain bike is a very good x-training exercise as well as swimming or lifting weights.

Its good to have a goal..it'll help keep you motivated. Two goals are even better. Just remember to also have fun, it'll make the run even more enjoyable.
