Todays Work out was - 20 mins on treadmill 20 mins of bike doing hills at 75% max resistance 20 min of elliptical 1 min internals 100 resistance and 50% resistance 20 mins of core
My run ended up being quite nice. I targeted a 5 km distance and nailed it with 30 seconds to spare. So 5 km in 19:31 is got the heart pumping for the rest of the routine. The treadmill PUSHES YOU!
Total sweat-fest = satisfaction
Last night I did chest and tri routine in the same gym. It nice to have different equipment to work with as it forces you to do different workouts. There were no big dumb bells in the gym but there was a 45 lb plate (for a barbell). I did tons of sledgehammer moves with that. But here's the killer. To start I did 100 push ups then I did 50 in the middle of the routine and then I did another 50 after I was done with the cables iron. That last set of 50 took me three groups to finish with 10 second breaks. BRUTAL!!!!
I love running and bike but lifting weights is such a rush!
