Monday, 06 September 2010 - Written by drew_stinton [profile] So up here (North East) they say that Labor day is the end of the summer. Well, if that's the case, I want my money back. As far as training goes, this summer has been the pits for me. I have traveled way too much, worked way too much, gone to too many weddings, and I haven't been able to keep a schedule. I've been trying desperately to build my calves and lower leg tendons up to my newly adapted style of "forefoot running", and I haven't done a very good job of it. Mostly due to not having any kind of schedule. |
My BF% has skyrocketed up to almost 18% from 10% this time last year. That really makes me unhappy.
The college classes I take twice a week at night now will certainly not help matters. I will have to redouble my efforts and stop making excuses. I felt great doing today's run and although my feet have felt week into the evening I suspect that I'll feel OK tomorrow.
