6 months of training. Lap after lap in th pool. Hours on the spinning bike and road bike. Two pair of sneakers worn out running. Now, only 4 days until the triathlon I dedaicted my athletic life to and...

I HAVE A COLD. Perfect timing.

I had the same thing happen to me prior to my first marathon. Stay on top of your nutrition prior to and during the race, and don't be surprised if your energy goes sooner than you expect. I believe in my case it caused "the wall" to hit me much sooner, so don't be too hard on yourself if you can't perform the way you know you have prepared to.
