Saturday I jumped into the murky green water of my local lake along with 60 of newest, closest, wettest, friends. 32 minutes later I stumbled onto the sand. Faster, longer, better, than I've ever done before I swam.
Then to show off I climbed out of my wetsuit and onto my bike for a 17 mile ride. As my biked hummed past the huneysuckle that grew in mounds on the roadside I let the frangrance wash over me and I recalled the very recent victory over the water that also washed over me, and I smiled.
