Ok, so I decided to train for a marathon that is a bit later in the year. I am going to join my friend when she does her half marathon, but I'll do the either the 5 or 10K.

I've joined a Biggest Loser contest at work to give me motivation to get fit for the half marathon and to lose weight. Whoever loses the most weight within 2 months wins all the money that people put in to join the contest.

Today I did a mile on the treadmill (which I did slightly faster than my previous one , 16:32 rather than 16:45) and did 2.2 miles on the stationary bike in 20 minutes. Off I go!!!

Nice! The great thing is that if you keep it up, you'll start to see results almost right away. I've been using thedailyplate.com to track my calories, along with this site to track my running, and it's been awesome. Keep it up, and keep tracking and logging!

I've never heard of daily plate before. i just went on it, registered and logged what i ate today. what an awesome website! thanks so much for sharing it. it's a great and fun way to set weight loss goals and track everything i'm eating. it will definitely force me to stop snacking so much
