Screaming muscles!!

Well yesterday was my first of many double work out days. Yesterday morning I got up and went to the gym for a bi, lat and ab workout. Then yesterday afternoon I led my first after school circuit training. Lets just say all the running I have done has gotten me into pretty good running shape, but this has nothing to do with circuit training shape. The stations kicked my butt!!! My quads and glutes are screaming today. My biceps and lats are comfortably sore as well. IT FEELS GREAT!!! I think that mixing it up and confusing my muscles really will help me be a stronger runner and get me in better all around shape!

The stations we did were: 1 curl up 2 hop scotch in place 3 mountain climbers 4 jump twists 5 reverse curl ups 6 push ups 7 air squats 8 bear crawl 9 forward lunges and 10 burpees. We stayed at each station for 60 seconds then moved to the next station no resting between. After one full cycle we got water and walked for 2 minutes then did another round. I dont remember being that tired in a long time.

Can hardly wait until tomorrows training. I think I am going to change up some stations and add some fun stuff. Maybe some hula hoop and jump ropes.

Dont be afraid to change up your routine, you wont regret the change nor the results!!!!

Awesome job! I'm inspired to add more stuffs to my gym routine. I'd like to do some resistance training in the morning and run in the evening. I've tried this before and my runs suffered a bit. I'll keep you posted.
