The longest milage so far after 11 weeks into the training program (for the second round due to postponment of the marathon). I was so full of enthusiasms until I didn't sleep well plus the warm nights for the whole week.

I can't barely wait to try out the economic running mechanic. Despite a bit of frustration from latecomer, six of us flagged-off to Sri Hartamas at 6.30am, unable to start earlier as planned. Pace was a bit slow since I don't feel like pacing anybody today, so I just sit back & relax for the whole 11km journey. Pace was too slow but it kept my mind straight. The running mech was applied in a relax manner compared to the mid week runs which was faster.

The road back was interesting. Normally the group would breakup with some breakaway freaks at the remaining 5km mark. This time, somebody tried his luck a bit earlier at the 17km mark! All hell broke loose. I was reserving myslef, pacing with enough tempo just to keep up but not joining the fiesta.

The party lasted for 4km before somebody stressed themselves out. One was dehydrated & the other got knee pain & almost hit the wall. I was continuing with the pace reaching the carpark clocking 25.7km in 2hrs48min with my hearts out feeling great. The running mech was proven.
