cant get enough to eat!!! - 2010/07/28 17:35 Tell me about it!

Or better yet tell my wife as she is the one who ends up going to the store. I bet rcblu2 is in the same boat just to name one of many possible others.

I end up working out for about 10 - 13 hours per week. 3 or so of which is pretty intense weight lifting. The rest is all biking and running (maybe some cross)

I eat about 3500 - 3800 cals a day. No fast food and very few treats. It sounds like you r body is craving good carbos. Keep the fruit coming and the Work in some grains(oat meal, quinoa, barley). Heavy stuff that takes a while to digest. Adding protein to the mix will help keep you satisfied. Peanut butter or a turkey sangwich.

Your body burns up about 100 - 120 cals per mile while running depending on sizes condition etc. But the net caloric burn is less because you need to subtract the amt of cals you would burn if you were gust sitting there doing nothing.

Get online and look at some caloric needs calculators and figure an ESTIMATE of where you should be.
