| I was at the OSIM Intl Triathlon 2008 fare at East Coast beach yesterday. It was my first seeing a triathlon in action and I wasn't sure of what to expect. It was supposed to be a family event to spend the Sunday morning at the event's fair. As a spectator, the event was well organized. Ushers everywhere and signs prominently displayed to ensure both spectators and participants co-exist well. My daughter wasn't disappointed with the generous yummy cotton candies and ice shavings. There were game booths with easy to win games and entertaining snake charmer show with pythons we took pictures with. All for free! Well good things do come for free. Back to the race, it really got my adrenalin going watching the participants coming out from their swim and proceeding with their cycle and run. Maybe next year, I'll give the OSIM Intl Triathlon a go. |
