| This weekend has been tattooed into my canundrum. Yes, it will be an exciting time on a "Team Time" level; hang out time, restaurant time, giggle time, what have you. But it's so much more to me. This 4x8 will make or break my position at state. What do you want to do, Muntean? Go to state as an alternate or go to state as an athlete, for coaches from a number of colleges to scruntinize? It's important, it's so much important now than it ever has been before. To put it plain as can be- you're not good enough. You know you're not good enough now, your coaches know you're not good enough now, your teammates know you're not at full potential now. I'm close. I'm so close. I am determined and I am close; however, never forget the fact that it is indeed preseason, I have time to improve. But! I don't want to wait, I want improvement NOW. This season thus far has been a healthy, dedicated one so I can never drop that. Continue doing what you love. Continue doing what you need. |
