I really want to start running again. I need to lose weight and this is the ONLY way I am going to do so. Past experience tells me it is so. Plus it is the only thing I am even remotely motivated to do.

i've found that the best way to stick with running is finding races. if you're like me, having weight loss as a goal never makes me stick with running, but once i started signing up for races, like a 5k or something, THAT'S what really motivates me.
